My husband and I visit pecado often for brunch they never disappoint. Food is always amazing. Service is impeccable. Ambiance is beautiful. You can dress casual. Perfect for brunch with friends or an afternoon date.

We got take out from this place when I was hospitalized for complications of my stage IV cancer. Being in the hospital, you can get tired of the food. My brother and sister in law brought me the tortilla soup, guacamole, and quesadillas. They got a burrito and a bowl. They are vegans but they were able to find something that met their needs. Everything was delicious and fresh. Definitely will return and dine in as my brother said it was a nice ambiance in the actual restaurant!

Went here for dinner on new years and were able to get a last minute reservation which was cool. It's a nice looking place with a good amount of tables. Service was fast and the food was good. It's kind of expensive though, normally we would get an appetizer but decided to just get some drinks and tacos. I would come back again because the food was good and would like to try something other than tacos

Everything was great but service could have been slightly better I overlook the slight fault cause everything else was excellent

Pecado is one of my family's favorite spots in town to grab a casual dinner or celebrate a special event!! Our server Cesar was excellent, very personable, helpful, and gave us great recommendations per the menu! (try the chorizo plantains, and the elote asado is some of the best i've had!) Josh the manager made our night by remembering us from previous visits and coming over to say hi on our way out. Love this place, we'll be back!

Pecado in Bay Shore is a solid spot for happy hour, especially if you love Mexican food that brushes with both authentic and American. The food here strikes a good balance--it's got that authentic taste but with a bit of American, just enough to make it approachable without losing the real stuff. The staff are super friendly and genuinely make you feel welcome. It's one of those places where you don't feel like just another customer; they're always up for a quick chat or a laugh, which makes the vibe even better. Drinks are on point, and the happy hour deals make it easy to pop inside. Pecado's definitely earned a spot on my regular list in Bay Shore.

Delicious Mexican food! My sister and mom took me for my birthday a few weeks back and everything was delicious. Cauliflower tacos were my favorite. Drinks and service were good as well. We were there for an early dinner but after a few minutes, the place was packed. The bar is beautiful as well as the decor. Next time I will try something new but definitely keep the cauliflower tacos. So good!

What a find! I did not anticipate for this restaurant to be so amazing. One of the best Mexican meals I have had in the US. Great food. Quality ingredients and an innovative take on the familiar dishes. A lovely selection of cocktails, beer and tequila. Sadly, a Truly limited wine selection, yet I did not mind. Clarified margarita with a black salt rim was a good choice. Note: Guacamole made to order far surpassed the one served at the Mission in AZ - though it could have used pepitas or pomegranate seeds for texture. Fish of the day ceviche verde was beautifully presented and even more delicious. Our main course - a signature dish - LA PARRILLADA - to be shared by 2-3 people. A sizzling skillet with a variety of protein and shrimp - along with all the trimmings. A very good choice, but I think next time - if given the opportunity - we would select several types of tacos. For dessert - churros - and probably my most favorite of all churros I had in the US. It says a lot since my children love churros and we had tried them in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, as well as many other places in Chicagoland area. We had them in California as well as Arizona, and other states. Long story short - it was a tasty and surprisingly light treat! And I mean, light. I would have never thought to find a gem of Mexican cuisine on Long Island. The only other Mexican place I am so fond of is Libertad in Skokie, IL - again, an unusual location. Note: high noise level - the place was packed before 5 pm, and the music was too loud to have an intimate conversation. The decor is not my cup of tea - modern, but not sleek, but nonetheless, the food is fantastic. Made my trip to Long Island even more special.

I've been here so many times at this point. This review is a culmination of all my visits and eats. The service is always on point and the ambiance is very nice. Pecado is Spanish for "Sin" and you see a lot of Dias de Los Muertos pictures and vibes inside accompanied by dim lights. Their drinks are so good! I usually get their passion fruit or mango Margaritas with the Tajin (spice) rim and it always HITS! For food, I've had the following: Appetizers: -Guacamole: so well made and flavorful! Mains: -Chile Relleno: (Stuffed poblano pepper, mushrooms, cheese, salsa roja tatemada, crema. Served with rice) AMAZING. I keep coming back to this everytime I'm there for dinner. The flavor that comes through from the mushroom, their choice of cheese, and the poblano pepper is so delicious. -Sizzlin' Fajitas: Chicken and Shrimp (Sautéed onions & peppers. Served with rice, black beans, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, flour tortillas & shredded cheese) This is so delicious and flavorful!! Dessert: -Churros- (Dulce de Leche filling, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, side of chocolate ganache and vanilla ice cream) sooooo DELICIOUS!! Everytime it is so fresh and the combination is perfect-The filling tastes delicious and combines well with the churro, ice cream and chocolate ganache. This is definitely shareable with another person. Every experience here has been pleasant- it's a nice dinner spot and brunch spot even. Not pictured but I have had their huevos rancheros and it did not disappoint. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!
